I've spent so long drawing and not being able to draw that I've just kind of gotten used to it, then somewhat recently, I drew a memorial pic of - zomg! my mind is playing tricks on me! I'm in my room but I SWEAR I'm at the top of the stairs to the common room. SERIOUSLY WEIRD! I can see the view out the corners of my eyes and everything! Maybe I need sleep... - a memorial pic of hoban washburn or "Wash" from firefly, cause he didn't deserve to die. Then once I'd finished it, I realised I hadn't erased massive portions or angsted over proportions or anything, and that I was completely happy with my first try. Since then I've tried to capture this by drawing waht I wasnt to draw rather than a picture of what I want to draw, if that makes any sense. ANYWAI, I think this may be the development of an artistic style. YOu can see the improvement and change from "A thirty foot nun that dispenses pies from it's back" onwards. I really ought to post the wash pic.
